“Rafael promptly arrived with his air conditioned car and drove safely to the park. Vistas were great and timing perfect. Our drive was 40-60 minutes each direction, so 5-6 hours is plenty of time for this morning to early afternoon hike. Cold drinks and snack were available. Assistance and good information was given. This Sao Paulo State Park’s terrain requires some stamina and is not recommended for young children or those with unsteady footing. Cold drinks and snacks were offered. I recommend bug repellant, grippy sneakers or hiking boots, and maybe sun protection.”

We loved it! Our guide, Mauricio, was exellent! Mauricio provided a great education and history as well as techical advice for climbing. We packed lunches and there was an opportunity to stop for breakfast and stop on the way back. In additon to the guide, there was a seperate driver for our trip.”
