“This trip started out pretty bad - our guide was Teresa, she really didn’t speak a lot of English and the biggest challenge was they had native speakers and English speakers in the same group. Clearly, she kept talking with the native, local people and didn’t seem to engage a lot with the English speakers. What I thought was funny was the fact that when those native Portuguese speaking folks got dropped back off at their pickup points - there were hugs and goodbyes and no mention of any tips/gratituities. The last few stops were all English speakers and she blatantly announced tips are expected and she even asked an…”

“Had a great experience! The views and restaurants are amazing, lots of option with an added dj set before the sun sets. We purchased the skip the line ticket which was definitely worth it didn’t have to wait to get across or come back down, no hassle which was definitely an added bonus after a long day. If you can get the fast track ticket definitely do, you won’t regret it, especially if you’re planning to spend the day there.”

Rio in five hours: visit Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain with hotel pickup, a bilingual guide, and a small capped group.

“Usually tour groups can skip the line, but that was not the case in Rio. We had to stand in a general queue for the cable car to Sugar loaf. By the time we reached Christ Redeemer at 14:00, the statue was completely covered by fog. So the experience was not worth the money paid. The tour started at 10:00 instead of 9:00, due to unforeseen circumstances. This can happen. But waiting in line to get to both attractions makes the tour not worth the money.”

“Excellent day tour. This is the way to see highlights of Rio in a day! Our tour guide Leandro was exceptional, allowing sufficient time to explore each venue, being very informative without the constant stream of trivia some guides feel necessary. The included traditional Brazilian meal was superb! If like us you have limited time in Rio, then this is a perfect way to see all the key attractions in a day. The transport is by a modern 12 seater minibus that was immaculately clean. I highly recommend this tour!”

“Jonas, our guide is amazing, we are at the tail end of the adventure & I had to review him right now. His English is great, he took special care of everyone in our group and was very accommodating. The 4 stops we had were just what we needed to see Rio in all of its splendor. I am still thinking of hang gliding and going to Tijuca parque/rainforest. We really enjoyed Christ the Redeemer, Selaron, Cathedral, & Sugarloaf mountain. Glad we chose this experience and C2Rio was the best company to take us!”

“I would give them zero, but … I’m being nice. If you are traveling solo or a couple DO NOT BOOK your flight with them. I booked this activity because a brazilian girl in my flight told me to do this activity. Showed up at my scheduled time as so did another guy. We both wasted our morning thinking we were going to flight over, however, we were not able to do so because a 3rd person was missing. I understand the fuel and their requirements, the problem is that this site will let you book the tour even if you are only 1. Before you book confirm with them…”

Review of Rio’s 9-hour Christ Redeemer and Sugar Loaf tour, with cable cars, rainforest train, barbecue lunch, transport, and practical tips.

“Our guide, Luis was a very nice person, spoke English very well. The pick-up was right on time. The lunch was an amazing one but for some reason, no drinks are included, not even water. The only downside was that the trip says its a train ride to the Christ The Redeemer but we were taken by an elevator probably because the queue for the train was a long one. But, I believe the Tour Organizers should anticipate this and promise only what they can deliver. Apart from this bummer, the tour went very well. They give you enough time to click pictures. :)”

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 508 reviews · 2 hours (approx.) · from $45

Review of Rio’s Christ the Redeemer skip-the-line train ticket, with honest advice on timing, queues, value, weather, and what to expect.

“Skip the line is 100% worth it. We went early about 7:30 am and there was already a line. Not a huge one but still a line. We were able to skip and head right to the front to board the train. Everyone was very nice. The views from Christ the Redeemer are spectacular! Because we went early we got a lot of nice shots without tons of people in the photos. But even with tons of people around it was just nice to be there and have this experience. I walked around the statute and prayed and took great pics of the views. Certainly get there early. But if…”
