We got to see the Chinese vista, 1 waterfall, hike to a small cave but could not see the higher viewpoint due to a thunderstorm. We saw some local wildlife, but you have to keep your eyes open! Renato gave great local tips for shopping in Barra de Tijuca neighborhood. Overall recommend, for families or adults alike.”

Expect to sign a waiver and wear a helmet on some parts, due to low branches and some slippery terrain. Also, plan to wear swim suit underneath hiking clothes, and wear or bring water shoes and towel, if you'd like full experience. We were picked up at our hotel about 8am (an hour before the tour start time), and we had a small group, we moved fairly quickly, so we were done and back at our hotel by lunch. Guides were nice and helpful, but only one spoke English…”
